Have you ever wondered if the women who gathered together in 1998, to discuss creating a network to support each other, ever believed their actions would inspire a network that has grown and flourished for over 20 years?

To celebrate theirs and others success a Gala Event will be held on Thursday August 16 at the RACV Resort Inverloch commencing at 6pm.

The evening will be an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of local women who established, supported and maintained the network over 20 years. That means if you have been on a committee, or have spoken at an event, organised a workshop or attended an event you have been an integral part of the SBWN journey.

About our Guest Speaker

A great night is planned with guest speaker Andrew Griffiths.

Andrew, who was a member of Richard Branson’s Melbourne Dream Team, will share his inspiring story about humble beginnings as an orphan and ward of the state, to his current status as a hugely successful business man with no less than 12 bestselling books. He describes it as "A warts and all story of the road to recovery for the human spirit".

So dust off your cocktail attire, organise your friends and save the date!

NOTE:
