Discover how Meeniyan found a new vitality

The next Southern Business Women’s Network dinner event will explore the contributions that different community members have made to the revitalisation of Meeniyan.

Guests will hear from a range of business people and community members who have joined forces with their skills and passion to put Meeniyan firmly on the map as a go-to destination.

Be prepared take away a few gems that you can use in your own business as we explore the principles of revitalising a regional town, and how they can apply to revitalising the way you run a small business.


About our Guest Speakers

Speaker Panel

Two of our guests panel:

  • Fay Sinclair - local dairy farmer, winner of the 2003 National Landcare Award. Volunteer with numerous local community organisations, and hugely active in the region.
  • Marty Thomas - owner of Moo's at Meeniyan, Restaurant & Cafe. A global traveller and man with a passion for helping children in need in East Asia.  Marty is an advocate for promoting business in South Gippsland, and providing job opportunities for local youth. 
  • Catherine Waldron - Owner operator of Catherine’s Hair Techniques in Meeniyan and is celebrating 30 years of operation this year
  • Francesco Laera  of Trulli - Pizzeria and Meeniyan Pantry and Cellar
  • Sally Gorman - the Meeniyan Community Garden (TBC)
