Let me introduce you to your emotions
Introducing our speaker, Robyn Eva
Robyn has lived in South Gippsland for over 20 years although, returned in 2020 after spending 7 years working in China. She brings over 20 years of experience and broad knowledge having worked in many sectors including; education, local government, health, finance and community services.
Whilst in Shanghai she was a Director of an Australian Training Institute and Early Learning Centre delivering training based on emotional intelligence to the teachers, staff and parents. The parents and teachers noticed how role modelling EQ affected the toddlers’ behaviour to become more confident, caring, trusting and resilient.
As the training continued, the culture of the organisation became more positive, communication and collaboration increased and relationships improved as they listened more with empathy, tried to see other’s viewpoint and became less judgmental.
Robyn has created her own business, delivering training and coaching to parents, educators and businesses who want to “Be the change you wish to see in the world”
Discussion points.
What is emotional intelligence (EQ)?
It’s just being smarter with feelings!
These soft skills are sought after whether you’re a leader who wants to develop and retain your team, a parent wanting to raise confident children, or just want to have better relationships.
Let me help you recognise how you can;
- build good relationships
- communicate effectively
- empathise with others and
- make good decisions to assist in achieving your goals.
Let’s look at how we combine our thoughts and feelings to create better life choices.
How do you want to feel at the end of the day?
We invite both women and men to attend.
